1. Reference
  2. MCP tools reference

The server is at https://api.greatwait.dev/mcp. A connection lists only the tools its scopes allow. The MCP quickstart connects a client.

Withheld from agents

These operations are served over HTTP and are deliberately not tools.

exports.part — A file part may contain customer payload plaintext; MCP exposes export metadata but never raw export content.

endpoints.create — Creation returns a one-time endpoint signing secret, and MCP has no negotiated secure-result channel that can keep it out of ordinary tool history.

endpoints.rotateSigningKey — Rotation returns a one-time endpoint signing secret, and MCP has no negotiated secure-result channel that can keep it out of ordinary tool history.

endpoints.acknowledgeSigningKeyRotation — This is a human assertion about a server outside GreatWait; an agent cannot observe that the server has accepted the new secret.

endpoints.revealSigningSecret — The response is an endpoint signing secret, which MCP has no secure-result channel for — and the route accepts only a signed-in member, which MCP never carries.

sinkdeliveries.read — The only operation that returns a delivered callback body. An agent handed it would put customer payload into ordinary tool history, which is the disclosure the narrow exception was written to avoid.

credentials.create — Issuance is authenticated by a signed-in member. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, and POST /v1/credentials refuses both.

credentials.connection — A signed-in member checking a key whose secret is still on screen. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, neither of which holds a transient secret or a session to bind one to.

projects.list — Enumerating an organization’s projects is a signed-in member’s question. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, whose authority already is one project, and this operation accepts neither.

projects.create — Creating a project is a signed-in member’s act. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, whose authority already is one project — so this operation accepts neither, and an agent that somehow created one could not act in it.

grants.list — A member’s own connected applications. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, and an application holding a grant must not be able to enumerate its rivals — still less disconnect them — so this operation accepts neither.

grants.revoke — Disconnecting an application is the member’s own act. MCP carries API credentials and OAuth tokens, and an application able to disconnect a grant could disconnect the ones belonging to every other application the member has connected.

forecast.windows — A transitional shape for the autoscaler migration, withdrawn after its cutover. forecast.read is the same data in the shape this product publishes, and it is the tool an agent should reach for.
